We are Reps and Sets Team Salina, Inc. We are a Kansas not-for-profit corporation dedicated to providing opportunities for all youth of the Salina, Kansas regional community, regardless of socio-economic background, to engage in the sport of USA Olympic weightlifting, as a member club of USA Weightlifting which is itself a I.R.C. 501(c)(3) organization and a member of the United States Olympic Committee and of the International Weightlifting Federation. Reps and Sets Team Salina, Inc., conducts a variety of events aimed at developing Olympic, World, and Pan American Games champions in the senior and junior levels. The club also provides opportunities for Masters and others to compete in Olympic weightlifting as part of the USA Weightlifting. The club operates under a team-format in which the youth participants are expected to maintain positive levels of behavior in their school work, their conduct toward their coaches and teammates, and at home. Each participant is charged an annual fee of a minimal amount in order to maintain membership in USA Weightlifting and to emphasize the commitment required by the youth to perform at the highest level under the club guidelines, which include never allowing weightlifting to interfere with school work, showing good judgment in abstaining from alcohol and tobacco for minors, and showing respect for fellow-competitors. The club does not, however, turn away youth who are financially unable to meet the membership dues and raising funds for scholarships are a priority for the club. The club participates in competitions in the Missouri Valley region, encompassing Missouri and Kansas, as well as in Colorado and in "home" competitions in Salina. Mission:
